SEYAL
- Every child should be equipped with socio-emotional skills.
- Fostering socio-emotional intelligence will empower students, teachers, and schools in rural Tamil Nadu to achieve their full potential.
JOURNEY & IMPACT
- Started as an experiential learning using SEL, SEEL through “Be The Change Project’s” like Team of life and mid-year interventions in TEACH FOR INDIA Fellowship.
- Currently, we are working with rural schools in Tamilnadu.

Self-Awareness
The ability to understand and reflect ones own thoughts, emotions, values and decisions which influences their action. This includes their limitations, boundaries, and sensations.
Self-Kindness
The ability to understand how emotions arise, identify feelings and accept ones feelings by validating and affirming those feelings in order to be free from self-judgement.
Self-Regulation
The ability to regulate ones thoughts, feelings and actions to make value aligned decisions which will yield the intended impact.
Social Awareness
The ability to understand others thought, feelings and emotions to appreciate the diversity and building perspectives by noticing social cues and social norms.
Extending Compassion
The ability to empathize with others feelings and actions by acknowledging their situation simultaneously recognizing mutual boundaries.
Social Interaction
The ability to communicate effectively and extend invitations to individual or groups to resolve any conflicts constructively or to achieve common goal.
